As a Senior Digital Solutions Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of projects in the Offshore & Shipbuilding sector. Your primary responsibility will be to support instrumentation engineers, providing essential troubleshooting and application support in a dynamic engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist instrumentation engineers within engineering projects.
• Handle incidents, provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, IT, and other application support teams.
• Ensure application stability, availability, and maintain data quality.
• Create and manage reports and data extracts.
• Serve as the first point of contact for instrumentation engineers/designers regarding tool-related issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Smart (Plant) Instrumentation as an Engineer and/or Designer.
• Strong background in application support, ideally within an engineering or industrial setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including the ability to write and maintain SQL queries.
• Familiarity with reporting tools, particularly Infomaker.
• Experience with incident management and user support processes.
• Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented approach.
• Experience working within a support team.
• Knowledge of interfaces to other engineering systems and databases is a significant advantage.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field is required. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Google Cloud Certified: Professional Cloud Architect are highly recommended. Proficiency in administering and managing digital solutions, including cloud platforms, enterprise software, and digital tools, is essential. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital solution administration, IT systems management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a senior or specialist role.
• Demonstrated experience in deploying, configuring, and managing digital solutions across various platforms, including cloud-based environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in system administration, including managing servers, databases, and application environments.
