The Role

The Senior Designer for Girls Wovens is part of the Tommy Hilfiger Kids team, focusing on kids woven products and supporting the Design Director in creating cohesive products that embody the Tommy Hilfiger brand. Key categories include outerwear, pants, skirts, dresses, and denim.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends and present creative research aligned with the Tommy Hilfiger brand strategy for the Girls/kids Woven category.
• Design within the Woven product categories with confidence and a strong understanding of the Tommy Hilfiger DNA.
• Possess high-level fabric and trims knowledge along with a strong technical understanding of fits and construction.
• Focus on commercial products while introducing newness, modernity, and innovation.
• Adhere to the Divisional Calendar to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Merchandising team on best seller management and seasonal newness.
• Prepare sketches for divisional digital presentations and follow up on each style.
• Use Illustrator and Photoshop to create CAD sketches to communicate design ideas clearly.
• Prepare for seasonal presentations to senior management and participate in key milestones like sketch and proto reviews.
• Work closely with the Design Team to align design aesthetics and seasonal concepts.
• Partner with the Product Developer to ensure a smooth workflow each season.
• Collaborate with Tech and Product Development teams on garment fittings and ensure high standards for all styles.
