You will be based in one of our European offices within our Operations Practice.
The Operations Practice assists clients in addressing complex operational challenges. Our consultants blend strategic thinking with practical solutions to implement operational strategies that tackle critical problems. McKinsey’s Procurement service line, part of our Operations practice, supports clients in strategic and operational areas such as global sourcing, e-procurement, supplier development, and purchasing organization formation.
Your application should be submitted in English and include your CV and transcripts (high school, university, etc.), indicating all relevant grades.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degree with exceptional academic performance required
- Extensive experience in strategic purchasing and/or supply management (e.g., global sourcing strategies, cross-functional category management, RfQ processes and negotiations, talent development)
- Proven leadership record in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
- Willingness to take on European assignments during the work week
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas, both verbally and in writing, in English and the local office language.
