The Role

As a Senior C++ Software Engineer, you'll design and develop complex software systems for advanced medical systems, semiconductor equipment, and high-tech machines, where reliability, performance, and precision are critical. You will collaborate with some of the most experienced engineers in the industry and also identify opportunities for improving software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and verify subsystems, modules, and components within complex embedded systems.
• Integrate software into complex hardware and software systems.
• Apply Object-Oriented Programming, UML, unit testing, and modern design principles.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automate builds and test execution.
• Develop Python tooling to eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
• Enhance developer experience and software quality.
• Mentor colleagues in adopting better engineering practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Technical) Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience as a Software Engineer in a high-tech or embedded environment, with a strong track record in designing and developing object-oriented software solutions in C++ and preferably Python.
• Experience with optimization, setting up or maintaining CI/CD and build environments is required.
• Familiarity with OOP, unit testing, Agile methodologies, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plus.
