Abbott Biologicals in Olst is globally responsible for the filling of Lactulose, the production of hormone preparations, and the formulation of Mebeverine. Additionally, the site fills the flu vaccine Influvac® and conducts contract manufacturing. Currently, we are looking for a Senior Analyst.

Abbott Biologicals in Olst is recognized as a center of excellence for its products. The Incoming Goods Laboratory is part of the Quality Control department, responsible for analyzing and releasing APIs, raw materials, and packaging materials, as well as managing samples for the medicines produced in Olst. The Quality Control department also includes a Sterile Products Laboratory and an Oral Products Laboratory.

De Rol

As a Senior Analyst, you will focus on guiding, reviewing, and supporting the analysis of samples related to the inspection of APIs, raw materials, and packaging materials within the Incoming Goods Laboratory. You will also engage in broader QC activities, ensuring compliance with quality system guidelines to meet product and process quality and safety requirements.

• Support the execution of release analyses for APIs, raw materials, and packaging materials.
• Review analysis results and investigate deviations.
• Guide analysts in their work.
• Ensure timely completion of equipment maintenance and qualification tasks.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory management in the laboratory.
• Conduct validation of new methods and techniques.
• Lead departmental projects or participate in cross-departmental projects representing the QC department and collaborating with other departments within Abbott Olst.
• Contribute to the improvement of procedures and protocols within the laboratory.
• Engage in QC-wide activities such as liaising with the Manufacturing Automation department and maintaining Power BI overviews.
• Actively participate during audits and inspections.
• Identify bottlenecks and contribute to improvement plans regarding QC operations.

Vereisten

• You have a laboratory education at HBO level (HLO) or a Master's degree, e.g., in chemistry or biotechnology.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements is essential.
• Knowledge of working with Pharmacopoeias is a plus.
• Flexibility in task allocation is required.
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week).
• Proficiency in both English and Dutch.
