Senior position in ALM Model Development – Liabilities. We’re looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual to be part of our model development team as a senior model developer. You will work closely with colleagues on the development and improvement of ALM and behavioral models, contributing to the quality and standards within the department.

The Role

In this role, you will:

• Develop, implement, and maintain ALM models, including data input, model calibration, and scenario analysis.
• Provide quality assurance for model developers in the department.
• Serve as a role model for other model developers.
• Collaborate with the team to create behavioral models that capture customer behavior over time.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing of the ALM models to assess the impact of various risk factors on financial projections.
• Analyze results to identify potential areas of risk or opportunity.
• Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Quantitative studies such as Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering & Physics.
• Additional professional qualifications in financial risk (CFA, FRM) or willingness to pursue.
• Experience with model development in large financial institutions.
• Hands-on experience with current accounts behavioral and EC modeling.
• Hands-on experience with savings modeling.
• Experience with hedging models and understanding of EVE and NPV frameworks.
• Experience with pricing and business strategies.
• Proven experience delivering strategic model development projects and managing senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Python, Git, SQL, and complex code repositories.
• Proactive, analytical, and strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
