In this role, you will step into a position with substance, autonomy, and visible impact. You will have the opportunity to tackle your own themes and influence the development of the department. In return, you will receive:
- A gross monthly salary between €3,296 and €4,705 based on 36 hours (FWG 50, CAO Gehandicaptenzorg);
- A 13th month;

The Role
As a Senior Advisor Payroll Administration, you will be the linchpin between subject matter expertise, the AFAS system, and the individuals relying on accurate payroll processing. Notably, your department handles payroll not only for De Zijlen but also for three other organizations in the disability care sector, totaling around 4,000 payrolls per month. You will closely collaborate with team coordinator Ina on the themes and special issues that arise within the department.
You will translate changes in collective labor agreements and legal regulations into clear procedures and the correct setup in AFAS. You will contribute to further harmonization among the four organizations and establish structures and standards. Additionally, you will advance automation and digitization by critically assessing where RPA or smarter system configurations can alleviate manual work, thereby helping to create a robust structure for smooth and error-free payroll processing.
You will also independently address unique issues:
- Advising department managers and staff as a second line of support, for example on WIA, UWV, or the reduction of absenteeism in the second year of illness;
- Processing cases that do not fit into the standard process in AFAS Profit;
- Creating analyses and reports in Excel that contribute to quality assurance and financial reconciliations.
You will play an active role in periodic payroll and knowledge sharing within the team.
