In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and guiding absence processes from start to finish. You will support managers with (complex) cases, monitor legal obligations, and ensure that employees receive the right support during their reintegration journey. You will work closely with company doctors, case managers, and your HR colleagues. Additionally, you will analyze absence statistics and identify trends within the organization, translating these insights into concrete advice and improvement initiatives that contribute to sustainable employability and employee well-being. You will also play an active role in further professionalizing absence processes, reports, and working methods.

You are a strong conversational partner who easily communicates with employees, managers, and external stakeholders. You know how to engage people with your advice while always keeping an eye on both the individual and the company's interests. Furthermore, you possess:
- A completed HBO degree, preferably in HR, case management, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in absence management, case management, or occupational health services;
- Good knowledge of Dutch absence legislation, including the Improvement Gatekeeper Act, WIA, and UWV processes;
- Strong communication and analytical skills;
- A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style;
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
