In this role, you will coordinate all Security and Safety elements at the designated venue for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022 (FU17WWC2022). Your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage the Security and Safety planning and implementation for all tournament-related facilities, including stadiums, training sites, hotels, and airports, in line with FIFA Safety & Security Regulations. Building strong relationships with stakeholders will be key to ensuring smooth communication and execution of security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between State Police, Stewards, Private Security, and other Safety/Security personnel, addressing requests from the FIFA FSO.
• Implement agreed planning with LOC Leadership and stakeholders regarding Safety & Security matters.
• Manage the requirements of teams, officials, VIPs, FIFA staff, and spectators regarding venue Safety & Security.
• Ensure adherence to FIFA Stadium Safety and Security Regulations.
• Provide guidance on Safety & Security items and seek support from the FSO as needed.
• Compile standard pre-match, match, and post-match reports in consultation with the FSO.
• Anticipate and report any potential safety and security issues to the Operations Venue Manager and FSO.
• Coordinate stadium security and safety inspections to ensure operational readiness for events.
• Organize safety and security briefings for all role players and chair meetings as required.
• Maintain contact with the VOC and senior police commander from kick-off until the stadium is cleared.
• Ensure State emergency services are in place until all spectators, players, and officials have left the venue.
• Oversee security requirements for team arrivals and departures.
• Coordinate with authorities to maintain emergency vehicle access during matches.
• Ensure the Medical Plan is in place and service providers are positioned as planned.
• Enforce security force deployment according to access schematics, particularly in critical zones.
• Develop a deep understanding of FIFA's Accreditation system and ensure compliance.
• Attend pre-match meetings to provide updates on safety and security situations.

Requirements

• Preferred experience with armed forces (Captain grade or higher) or Police officer (DCP/SSP/SP Grade).
• Experience in organizing mass gathering events and security operations.
• Proven security management experience for team logistics and national sports events.
• Strong understanding of access control protocols and security standards.
• Knowledge of Safety and Security laws and regulations at national and state levels.
• Ability to prepare security event reports for LOC Leadership.
• Capacity to conduct venue risk assessments and manage security implementations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Ticketing systems and Access Control for security information sharing.
• Experience in Risk Assessment, Health and Safety Compliance, and Crisis Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
• Flexibility in working hours and provision for own transport and accommodation if relocation is necessary.
