The Role:

In this position, you will report to the Sales Director for FlexPack & Dye Sublimation. As the Sales Manager for Dye Sublimation, your responsibilities include:

• Managing and expanding sales through existing accounts and creating new accounts for dye sublimation papers in your dedicated sales region.
• Securing and enlarging business opportunities for Sappi’s Dye Sublimation paper grades and services, while enhancing brand perception and establishing Sappi as the preferred supplier.
• Extending market position and market share in sales regions, collaborating closely with the Dye Sublimation sales team to exchange relevant market information and assist in concept creation and implementation of defined activities to achieve budget goals.
• Steering customer sales orders and claims, ensuring effective interaction with customer service and technical application engineers to build strong relationships within accounts.
• Supporting agents in sales regions by providing necessary commercial settings and coordinating the execution of strategic plans, helping them strengthen their market position.
• Assisting in new product developments and launches by providing feedback on market trends and supporting marketing actions.
• Maintaining and updating sales data in SF.com, including leads and prospects management.
• Representing Sappi at international fairs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in dye sublimation product sales, with specific knowledge and network in the fashion industry being an asset.
• Proven track record in managing international accounts, dealing with distributors, end customers, and converters, and implementing market strategies in complex organizations.
• Specific knowledge of dye sublimation papers is a strong advantage, along with a good network in the Fashion and Sportswear industry.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, strong commercial understanding, and excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Good presentation skills and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders within existing and new accounts.
• Solid intercultural competencies and sensitivity towards different cultures.
• Fluent English skills are essential; additional languages are a benefit.
• Highly motivated with a target-oriented and structured working style.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and CRM (Salesforce).
