Outdoorlink is an ad tech company that specializes in Remote Device Management (RDM) solutions for the Out of Home (OOH) and Digital Out of Home (DOOH) advertising industries, along with digital signage, retail media, and place-based networks. Our innovative cellular-connected controllers and online platform enable operators to reduce costs, optimize energy use, and manage their networks remotely. With over 1,200 clients in more than 25 countries, we oversee more than 150,000 illuminated signs and 15,000 digital screens. As we focus on expanding our presence in Europe, we are seeking a dedicated Sales Executive to lead this initiative.

The Role

We are looking for a seasoned sales professional to establish and grow Outdoorlink's business in Europe. This hands-on, market-building position is ideal for a self-motivated B2B sales expert who can open new markets, conduct client trials, and develop accounts over time. You will initially sell directly to media and network operators, supported by our marketing, engineering, and logistics teams.

Responsibilities

• Market Development and Direct Sales: Identify and engage potential clients in OOH, DOOH, digital signage, retail media, and place-based media across Europe. Conduct outreach through calls, LinkedIn, email, and CRM campaigns to prospect and qualify leads. Schedule and lead meetings and presentations with decision-makers at media operators, AV integrators, and manufacturers. Own the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing business.
• Client Trials and Pipeline Growth: Initiate and manage client trials and pilots, converting them into ongoing accounts. Build and maintain a robust European pipeline to drive revenue growth.
• Distributor and Integrator Coordination: Collaborate with distributors and integrators to expedite deals. Help establish a broader channel model as the region develops.
• Industry Events and Representation: Represent Outdoorlink at European trade shows, industry events, and conferences, including WOO and regional OOH gatherings.
• CRM and Reporting: Utilize Pipedrive to track leads, log interactions, and manage the pipeline. Provide clear reporting on activities, opportunities, and market feedback to the Managing Director.

Requirements

• Five or more years of B2B sales experience in Europe, with a proven track record in account opening and deal closing.
• Demonstrated success in new business development and direct outreach in a B2B context.
• A genuine hunter profile: independent, self-motivated, and adept at building a territory with limited local infrastructure.
• Fluent in professional English.
• Based in Europe, capable of working remotely and effectively across time zones with a US-based team.
• Willingness to travel across Europe for client meetings and industry events regularly.
• Comfortable using a CRM (Pipedrive) for pipeline management and reporting.

Strong Pluses

• Knowledge of the OOH and DOOH advertising or integrator industries, with experience in adjacent fields like ad networks, retail media, or digital signage.
• An established network of contacts among OOH, DOOH, digital signage, or retail media operators would be a significant advantage.
• Multilingual capabilities: Fluent in English plus German, French, and/or additional languages.
• Experience selling technology, hardware, or platform solutions, particularly those focused on cost or energy savings.
• Preference for candidates based in the Netherlands, although other major European cities are also acceptable.
