In this role, you will manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through to contract finalization, navigating complex sales cycles that typically span quarters. You will engage with a multi-stakeholder buying committee, including plant managers, energy and utilities leaders, sustainability teams, and finance departments. Your responsibilities will include qualifying opportunities based on process conditions, site space, and existing energy supply contracts. You will collaborate with customers to build a compelling commercial case, analyzing factors such as energy price spreads, operating hours, avoided fuel costs, carbon costs, and grid constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own the sales pipeline end to end: first contact, technical concept, feasibility study, and contract.
• Sell to a multi-stakeholder buying committee.
• Qualify opportunities early against process conditions, site space, and existing energy supply contracts.
• Build the commercial case with the customer.
• Work with engineering on feasibility and interface definition.
• Develop the channel: EPCs, energy service companies, utilities, OEM partners, and direct sales.
• Prioritize markets based on subsidy regimes, industrial power prices, and permitting conditions.
• Feed customer requirements into the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Proven experience selling capital equipment, plant, or infrastructure to industrial customers with board-approval deal values.
• A track record of achieving revenue targets in Europe.
• Background in industrial energy and process heat, energy storage, heat pumps, electrification, waste heat recovery, CHP, boilers and burners, industrial gases, hydrogen, water treatment, process equipment, industrial automation, or engineering services.
• Experience selling into industries such as steel, glass, ceramics, chemicals, cement, pulp and paper, food and beverage, or oil and gas.
• Proficiency in German and English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with EU or national funding and subsidy schemes.
• Experience in the early stages of a company's commercial life is advantageous.
