Sales Development Representative - Datacenter Services (Remote) at Reboot Monkey

Our remote-first team is dedicated to building the infrastructure backbone of the internet, serving clients from hyperscalers to startups with reliable, 24/7 operations.

About The Role

We are establishing a global sales development team that operates around the clock. Our clients and prospects span every time zone, requiring immediate outreach when opportunities arise. As an SDR, you will take a proactive approach to identify and engage potential customers, ensuring timely communication and relationship building.

Responsibilities

Identify and research potential clients needing datacenter services (colocation, smart hands, remote hands, IP transit).
Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone to secure qualified meetings.
Engage with inbound leads and qualify them based on our Ideal Customer Profile.
Thoroughly research prospects before outreach to understand their infrastructure needs and pain points.
Maintain and update CRM records with every interaction.
Collaborate with the sales team to refine messaging, targeting, and outreach sequences.
Monitor industry news and forums for buying signals.
Provide daily activity reports: calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, pipeline created.
Cover your assigned shift to ensure 24/7 global sales coverage.

Your KPIs

Qualified meetings booked: 15+ per month.
Outreach volume: 50+ personalized touchpoints per day (email + LinkedIn + calls).
Response rate: 10%+ on outbound sequences.
CRM hygiene: 100% of interactions logged, pipeline always current.
Meeting show rate: 80%+ of booked meetings actually happen.

Compensation and Terms

Monthly retainer: EUR 600–800 depending on experience.
Performance bonus: EUR 25–50 per qualified meeting booked (paid monthly).
Arrangement: Freelance / Contractor — invoice monthly.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week.
Time tracking: Hubstaff required for all team members for billing verification.
Performance reviews: Every 2 weeks for the first 3 months, then monthly. KPIs shared upfront.
Payment: Monthly, on the 5th of each month for the previous month.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or outbound prospecting.
Experience with cold outreach: email, LinkedIn, phone — proven skills.
Fluent written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
Proactive and self-driven; you find work without needing direction.
Comfortable with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.).
Genuine interest in technology and datacenter infrastructure.
Friendly, warm, and professional — prospects should enjoy talking to you.
Organized and disciplined with daily routines and activity tracking.

Nice to Haves

Knowledge of the datacenter industry: colocation, interconnection, cloud, managed services.
Experience selling B2B technology services.
Familiarity with sales tools: Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Lemlist.
Understanding of PeeringDB, NANOG, RIPE community.
Proficiency in multiple languages (European languages, Spanish, Portuguese are valuable).
