Job Overview: Our client is seeking a creative and proactive Sales Development Representative to enhance their wholesale channel. In this role, you will spearhead outreach efforts to grow the brand's presence among independent boutiques in California.

The Role

You will be responsible for researching aesthetic-aligned retail partners, managing outbound cold campaigns, and navigating the sales pipeline to schedule qualified discovery meetings for the company founder. This position is perfect for an independent self-starter with a genuine passion for fashion and lifestyle products, coupled with the structured discipline necessary for B2B lead generation.

Responsibilities

• Outbound Prospecting: Execute strategic cold calls and emails to potential boutique partners in California to generate wholesale interest.
• Lead Generation: Research and compile targeted prospect lists of independent boutiques that resonate with the brand's premium aesthetic and customer base.
• CRM & Data Management: Maintain and update contact lists and lead activities in HubSpot and JustCall, ensuring smooth data flow between the CRM and dialer.
• Appointment Setting: Arrange Zoom meetings and discovery calls between qualified prospects and the founder to facilitate deal closures.
• Sample Coordination: Oversee the distribution of product samples to interested boutique prospects.
• Brand Mastery: Acquire in-depth knowledge of the brand's product catalog, press coverage, fashion show history, pricing matrix, and wholesale discount structures.
• Pipeline Nurturing: Re-engage with an existing pipeline of prospects contacted in the past six to nine months and provide regular updates to the founder.

Requirements

• B2B Sales Experience: Demonstrated experience in cold calling, emailing, and appointment setting within a B2B sales context.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly HubSpot, and outbound dialing tools like JustCall.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication abilities with a clear, professional speaking voice.
• Industry Passion: A true interest in fashion, lifestyle brands, and creative consumer products.
• Operational Habits: Exceptional attention to detail when managing prospect data and pipeline reporting.
• Autonomy: Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and taking initiative during your shift.
