UR Consultant is a fast-growing company looking to expand our team with the role of Safety Officer / Track Guard. Certification for this position is not a prerequisite; we will provide on-the-job training.

The Role:

The Safety Officer (VHM) is responsible for signaling a train before it reaches the worksite and warning workers to ensure they are safely positioned well before the train passes. The Track Guard (GRW) ensures that workers do not approach the active railway line during their tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing the safety instructions for practical implementation and justifying the assessment if safety measures are inadequate.
• Providing demonstrable safety instructions to executors, unless the Workplace Security Leader or Local Safety Leader is responsible for this.
• Carrying out safety tasks.
• Monitoring compliance with safety measures, setting a good example, and halting work if safety requires it.
• Evaluating safety measures and the safety organization with the LWB or LLV after the tasks are completed.

Requirements:

• Interest in railway work.
• Motivated with no 8 to 5 mentality.
• Strong communication skills.
