Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services is seeking an enthusiastic Rope Access Level 3 IRATA Supervisor for our offshore operations in Den Helder, North Holland. In this role, you will work on a 14-days-on / 14-days-off rotation, overseeing projects to ensure they are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As a supervisory position within our Operations department, you will have significant responsibility and the freedom to apply your expertise and introduce new ideas. Your daily tasks will include conducting site surveys, preparing Method Statements and Risk Assessments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise coating activities and inspections related to industrial coating and corrosion protection.
• Ensure thorough surface preparation and coating work, meeting quality standards and project specifications.
• Prepare and issue work permits following applicable legislation and client requirements.
• Develop detailed rescue plans compliant with safety standards, including emergency assessments and training the team.
• Identify and manage workplace hazards through risk assessments and control measures.
• Lead and support the team, maintaining clear communication and coordinating work to achieve project objectives safely and efficiently.
• Monitor safety, progress, and budgets during project execution, while also performing rope access work as needed.

Requirements

• Valid IRATA Level 3 certification.
• Experience in the offshore industry.
• Minimum of MBO Level 4 (vocational education) or equivalent working and thinking level.
• Valid VCA VOL certificate or willingness to obtain one shortly.
• Valid First Aid (EHBO) certificate or willingness to obtain one shortly.
• Proficient in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
