The Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Roll Forming Operator to support our standing seam expansion across Europe. This hands-on role involves operating roll forming machines on project sites to produce high-quality precision metal parts. The successful candidate will ensure safe machine operation, product quality, and professional representation of Kingspan when working with customers and contractors on site.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate roll forming equipment according to technical specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality during production runs.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Keep accurate production records, including output, scrap, and downtime.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with all safety procedures.
• Follow all health and safety requirements, especially when working at height.
• Survey production sites and advise customers or contractors on site roll forming requirements.
• Work closely with maintenance, production, and quality control teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma, vocational education, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating roll forming or metal fabrication equipment, preferred.
• Experience in metal processing, roofing systems, standing seam, or similar production environment would be an advantage.
• Ability to use hand tools, measuring tools, and basic technical equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• High awareness of health and safety standards.
• Willingness to work on project sites and travel when required.
• Professional attitude when working with customers and contractors.
