The Role

As the Restaurant Manager at Taiko, you will oversee daily operations within the F&B division, ensuring exceptional guest service and operational excellence. You will manage and motivate a high-performing team to deliver outstanding dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of daily restaurant operations for Taiko, including staffing, service delivery, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and standards to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate a diverse team of service professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor and manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for food, beverages, and supplies.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and guest recovery.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including P&L statements, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitor activities, and guest preferences.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a management role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant environment.
• Proven track record of successful restaurant operations, including P&L management, staff development, and guest satisfaction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of English and Dutch language (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with hygiene code and HACCP regulations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekend shifts.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
