The Role
We are looking for a Reservations Agent to join the opening team of a new hotel in Rotterdam, Netherlands. You will be responsible for managing individual and group reservations through phone, email, and online channels, ensuring accurate data entry, room allocation, and reservation follow-up. You will provide detailed information about rates, availability, services, and hotel facilities, handle modifications, cancellations, and special requests, and coordinate with Front Office, Revenue Management, and Sales to optimize occupancy and revenue. Additionally, you will assist in creating and implementing reservation procedures for the hotel opening, ensure compliance with brand standards, and deliver excellent customer service while supporting reporting tasks and maintaining reservation records.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Reservations Agent or in Front Office roles.
- Experience in hotel openings is highly valued.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English and Dutch; Spanish is highly valued.
- Knowledge of PMS and reservation systems is a plus.
- Customer-focused mindset and attention to detail.
