The Role

As a Researcher, you will leverage your expertise in organometallic chemistry to drive new developments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Generating and validating new ideas for R&D projects aligned with market trends.
• Conducting experiments to develop ideas into commercial products, including building and troubleshooting experimental setups.
• Applying your chemical knowledge and technical insight to solve practical challenges in the lab.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects and support R&D initiatives.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in organic chemistry; experience in organometallic and/or polymer chemistry is a plus.
• BSc/MSc in organic chemistry or a related field.
• Hands-on mentality with enjoyment in working directly with lab equipment.
• Technical insight and creativity for practical problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with B1 level Dutch.

Nice to Have

• Solid background in polymer chemistry.
• Experience in project management.
• Strong desire to conduct experiments and explore new areas in organometallic chemistry.
