The Role

As a Rental Service Agent, you will manage all customer-facing rental operations and conduct professional RV sales demonstrations to convert leads into buyers. This hands-on, customer-centric position blends service, product presentation, operational execution, and follow-up sales management, ensuring every interaction reflects Indie Campers’ high standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct check-ins/check-outs, briefings, and provide ongoing rental support, handling service recovery and emergencies with empathy.
• Prepare and perform RV demonstrations, showcasing features and addressing customer-specific needs, ensuring smooth handovers and proper documentation.
• Track leads, demos, and follow-ups in CRM, converting rental customers into sales opportunities and supporting the RV Sales District and City Lead to meet targets.
• Maintain knowledge of Indie Campers RV models and perform basic system demonstrations (lighting, gas, etc.), troubleshooting and escalating issues as needed.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, rental, or automotive environments.
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to understand and explain technical RV/vehicle systems.
• Hands-on, adaptable, and solution-oriented under pressure.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and rental systems; familiarity with digital sales software is a plus.
• Organized, detail-focused, and proactive in managing leads or customers.
• Valid Driving License (Category B) required.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

Physical and Operational Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the depot for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting or carrying light to moderate items (10–15 kg).
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and peak-season schedules.
• Ability to interact with customers in various emotional states with calmness and professionalism.
