We are hiring for one of our clients, looking for a Resident Medical Specialist (MD/DO) to join on a part-time basis. In this role, you will work with research teams to assess and improve the clinical reasoning capabilities of AI systems. You will design evaluation methods to test AI performance on real medical problems where clinical expertise is essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research teams to assess and enhance AI systems’ clinical reasoning abilities • Develop systematic evaluation frameworks for medical AI systems • Design clinical scenarios that evaluate AI reasoning and decision-making in medical contexts • Create assessment methods that reflect the complexities of clinical practice • Identify deficiencies in AI medical knowledge and reasoning, working with researchers to address these gaps

Requirements

• Active licensed physician in any specialty • Experience in clinical decision-making and evidence-based medicine • Strong analytical skills for evaluating AI model performance • Interest in the application of AI in clinical practice • Ability to effectively communicate complex medical concepts
