We are looking for a Bookkeeper to manage the daily financial recordkeeping of our organization. This role is essential for maintaining accurate books, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing for the monthly close, providing leadership with reliable financial data.

Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions in the accounting system (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and payment processor accounts weekly
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and bill payments
• Maintain organized digital records of receipts, invoices, and supporting documents
• Assist with monthly and quarterly close through accurate ledger entries
• Collaborate with the controller on reporting, audit preparation, and process improvements

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms
• Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on reconciliation
• Familiarity with basic US GAAP is a plus
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
