Work Location: This is a remote/work from home position. Compensation: $18 - $20/hour + Monthly Commission Bonus Structure

Responsibilities

• Communicate with consumers by telephone, approve written correspondence, and work towards resolving unpaid accounts.
• Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate updates on computer files for each call made or received.
• Conduct skip tracing to locate consumer contact information.
• Counsel delinquent consumers to assist them in finding funds to meet their payment obligations.
• Stay compliant and up-to-date on all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations related to job duties.
• Adhere to all TSI policies and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of functional areas, company policies, and procedures.
• Provide feedback to management regarding potential problems or areas for improvement.
• Recommend improvements to processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in commercial collections required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic with a proven record of accomplishments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and integrity.
• Good organizational skills and professional phone etiquette.
• Positive attitude with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and competitive environment.
• Negotiation skills.
• AS/400 and FACS experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of FDCPA is helpful.
• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening.
• Availability to work between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
• Stable work history and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in commercial collections.
• Experience collecting larger balances.
• Experience working in a work-at-home environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to remain self-motivated.

For Remote Positions: The minimum internet speed requirements for remote work are as follows:

• Broadband internet connection (No DSL or Dial Up).
• Hard wired connection required (no Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi hotspots).
• Speed Test Results: 25 mbps download, 20 mbps upload.
