In this role, you will be the first point of contact for both phone calls and visitors at the reception. You will quickly identify inquiries over the phone and connect them to the appropriate person. Reliability and a service-oriented attitude are essential, as your guests will range from colleagues to suppliers and visitors with scheduled appointments.

De Rol

At the reception, you will handle a busy environment with multiple tasks simultaneously; issuing keys while answering calls, monitoring access control, and checking in or out visitors. You enjoy assisting everyone and providing premium service, but you are also comfortable reminding visitors and employees of procedures and enforcing compliance.

Throughout the day, there will be plenty of administrative tasks to keep you engaged and ensure your days fly by.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Timely and accurate execution of administrative tasks, such as visitor registration, issuing and recording keys, access passes, and badges, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. You will handle personal and confidential information with care.
Identifying bottlenecks and sharing your knowledge and ideas to implement improvements in coordination with colleagues.
Supporting supervisors and other staff, ensuring everyone is informed and advised in a timely, correct, and complete manner.
Informing and checking visitors and colleagues on applicable (safety) procedures upon entry.

Bijna iedereen herinnert zich nog de eerste keer in de Bijenkorf. De geschiedenis van het mooiste warenhuis van Nederland gaat terug tot 1870, toen op de Nieuwendijk in Amsterdam een kleine fourniturenwinkel onder de naam Magazijn de Bijenkorf werd geopend. Kunst, cultuur en mode hebben altijd een grote rol gespeeld in de historie van de Bijenkorf en vele beroemde kunstenaars, waaronder architecten, schilders en ontwerpers, hebben in de loop der jaren hun naam aan de Bijenkorf verbonden. Inmiddels bestaat de keten uit zeven warenhuizen, in Amsterdam, Den Haag, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Utrecht, Maastricht en Amstelveen, en webshops in Nederland en België. Daarnaast is er een patisseriewinkel in het centrum van Amsterdam. De centrale bakkerij is gevestigd in Amsterdam-West en het uiterste duurzame distributiecentrum in Tilburg. Maar de Bijenkorf is meer dan een winkel. Het is een podium waar je geïnspireerd wordt. Het gonst er letterlijk van de ideeën en creatieve energie.
