Role Description The Quality Control Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Almere. In this position, the technician performs routine quality checks on products, materials, or processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include conducting tests, operating and maintaining network security equipment, recording and analyzing test results, and documenting any deviations from specifications. The technician collaborates with quality assurance and operations teams to investigate issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve quality procedures. This role also involves maintaining accurate records, following safety protocols, and supporting audits or inspections as needed. Escalate complex issues to the QC Engineer and/or Quality team for further analysis. You may also assist when testing is successful, preparing for final shipment. For the role it is preferred to have own transportation as the location is quite remote with just one bus line.

Vereisten

• Demonstrated skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to monitor and improve standards and procedures with at least 2 years of experience in electronics, computer hardware, or Quality Inspections.
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and propose evidence-based improvements.
• Hands-on skills with test tools and software, able to follow test scripts (VBS) or checklists accurately.
• Ability to operate and maintain Networking Equipment, ensuring accurate measurements and reliable test results.
• Relevant vocational training or degree in a scientific, technical, or quality-related field.
• Attention to detail, organized documentation habits, and familiarity with basic quality management systems.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a manufacturing, or technical quality environment is an advantage.
• Able to lift and handle equipment up to 50lbs (23kg).

Vereiste vaardigheden

• Work knowledge of firmware upgrade tools like, SecureCRT, Wireshark.
• Familiarity with Network Security and/or Enterprise networking products.
• Basic scripting knowledge (VBS, Powershell, Python) is a big plus but not required.
• Basic network knowledge.
