Quality Control (QC) Officer | Utrecht | 5-Shift Operations

We are currently seeking a Quality Control (QC) Officer to join an international food manufacturing organization in Utrecht. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods consistently meet quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

As a QC Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the production process and supporting the site's quality objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing quality control checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
• Collecting and evaluating product samples
• Recording, analyzing, and reporting test results
• Identifying, investigating, and escalating quality deviations
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Collaborating with production teams to resolve quality-related issues
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system

Requirements

• MBO+ or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Laboratory Sciences, Quality Management, or a related field
• Experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or laboratory environment
• Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation
• Good command of English; Dutch is considered a plus
