The Role

As a Project Organizer for National Road Construction Projects, your focus will be on projects in the Amsterdam region. You will ensure the safest and most efficient working methods throughout the entire process. In consultation with project management, you will determine the deployment of personnel capacity, equipment, and materials. Additionally, you will guide work preparers, executors, subcontractors, and suppliers:

• You are the point of contact for the client regarding technical matters.
• You have a coordinating role in the design process and prepare schedules, purchasing specifications, timelines, work plans, and inspection plans.
• You identify project-specific risks and proactively implement management measures.
• In collaboration with the team, you prepare estimates and small calculations.
• You are sensitive to various interests and respond customer-oriented. You do not wait but take action as soon as you see new opportunities.

Your Team

You will strengthen our production department for National Projects, working from Amsterdam or our project locations on various road construction projects in the capital region. You will join an experienced team with a shared passion for infrastructure projects. Process-oriented work, transparent communication, and results-driven actions are central. Requirements

At BAM Infra Wegen, we tackle various types of work with the aim of improving infrastructure. Each type of project requires its own approach. Therefore, it is essential that you, as a project organizer for roads, possess the following:

• You have a higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level.
• An educational background in civil engineering or business administration, with at least an MBO-4 diploma.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a work preparer in the infrastructure or road construction sector.
• You have a solid knowledge of construction methods and techniques, allowing you to develop safe and efficient working methods; calculation experience is a significant advantage.
• You are communicative, straightforward, proactive, and possess critical analytical skills!
