Over het project

Over a kilometer of the A10 South will go underground while traffic continues above: transitioning from 2 x 4 lanes to 2 x 4 plus 2 lanes in two tunnels. Above, there will be space for a fifth and sixth track and a larger Station Zuid. The tunnel roofs will host a bus and tram station, and the Amstel and De Nieuwe Meer junctions will be renewed. The project will continue well into 2030.

Over de opdrachtgever

You will work for one of the major infrastructure builders in the Netherlands. Their expertise lies in roads and public spaces, both above and below ground. At Zuidasdok, they are part of the team realizing the tunnel, focusing on earthworks, road construction, and logistics.

Wat je gaat doen

You will start in phase 1: preparing construction areas, excavating and transporting soil, and implementing temporary road diversions. Phases 2 and 3 will follow, involving the final road, tunnel openings, and connections to the existing A10.

You will be the sparring partner for the project leader and make decisive calls when necessary.
You will monitor the schedule, budget, and progress, with milestones set years in advance. You will anticipate risks to adjust before they impact time or cost.
You will navigate between design and execution, contributing to phasing and temporary traffic situations to ensure the A10, the railway, and Station Zuid remain operational.
You will manage logistics effectively: bringing in materials, removing soil, right in the city next to an under-construction tunnel.
You will coordinate with work preparers, executors, and engineers, and liaise with Rijkswaterstaat, ProRail, and the municipality when necessary.

Wie we zoeken

You have already overseen a few large infrastructure projects and understand the intersection of technology and finance. You are not intimidated by projects with many layers, parties, and long lines. You are approachable and speak up when something is amiss. Experience with urban projects or intersections with railways is a plus. You speak and write good Dutch.

If you recognize these three points, you are a good fit:

A completed HBO degree in civil engineering.
At least 5 years of experience as a project coordinator in the GWW sector.
Experience with budget monitoring and planning on complex projects under UAV-GC.

Salary up to €6,500 gross per 4 weeks, depending on your experience.
