• Higher professional education or academic background; a PhD is a plus.
• Experience with academic research and the organizational context of a university or research institute.
• Proven experience managing grants or projects; PM certification (e.g., PRINCE2 or PM2) is a plus.
• Experience with collaborative grants and reporting deliverables to Horizon Europe and/or NWO.
• Familiarity with managing complex project tasks such as finances, reporting, and contracts.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to coordinate project teams, and obtain consensus.
• Fluent in English and at least B2 proficiency in Dutch.

This position (0.8 FTE) is a fixed-term 6-month contract for maternity cover, from 15 November 2026 until 15 April 2027. The UFO profile ‘projectleider 1’ and salary scale 10 apply to this position.
