Program Manager Regional Collaboration Elderly Care at Mijzo

We are looking for program managers for three regional collaborations in elderly care, starting January 2027, for a duration of at least one year.

Over de Organisatie:

Brabant Verbindt Zorg consists of four regional collaborations that connect elderly care organizations within and between the North Brabant care office regions. Together, with our financiers and partners, we aim to make elderly care sustainable for the future. We achieve this through initiatives focused on self-sufficiency, social and technological innovation, living at home longer, sustainable living concepts, and the retention and employability of care staff.

In the North Brabant regions, elderly care organizations have been working closely together for years, and the connections between regions are becoming increasingly stronger. Collaborating across regions brings more visibility to necessary developments and offers opportunities for organizations to work together in the required transformation. The innovation program of the collaborations will take a next developmental step starting in 2027. With the Main Lines Agreement Elderly Care 2025-2028 and the new procurement framework, we will reassess the priorities in regional collaboration.

Since both the current program manager in Southeast Brabant and the program manager in West and Central Brabant will be leaving at the beginning of 2027, we are looking for new program managers for these regions.

De Rol:

Regional innovation primarily lies with the participating organizations and is facilitated by a coordinating program team consisting of a program manager, a program coordinator, and a communication advisor. This team operates independently of the individual organizations. The team is not just supportive of the process; it is the process. It ensures coherence between action lines, initiatives, organizations, and governance tables, maintains progress between meetings, and ensures continuity of knowledge and relationships necessary for organizations to stay on course together.

The program manager of Brabant Verbindt Zorg is the right hand of the executives who are part of the collaboration, particularly the daily management. You will advise and support executives in setting up, organizing, leading, implementing, and evaluating the regional program and the collaboration. You are an important sparring partner for executives and also the connecting factor between different project leaders and initiatives, ensuring that projects are cohesive and mutually reinforcing.

Bestuurlijke regie & advies: Preparing, guiding, and following up on governance meetings. You advise executives on process interventions and governance, both upon request and unsolicited.
Programmasturing & samenhang: Monitoring the progress of the regional transformation agenda and ensuring coherence between different action lines and projects.
Begeleiding van projecten: Supporting and directing (external) project leaders, providing clear assignments, and monitoring results.
Netwerk & vertegenwoordiging: Acting as the central point of contact for the collaboration and representing the region at supra-regional and national tables.
Communicatie & proces: Ensuring clear information provision and structure within the network.

Profiel:

Regional collaboration requires balancing regional agreements and mutual differences, collaboration and competition, autonomy and compromise among organizations and in the region. This demands strength and political awareness, as well as diplomacy and respect for the identity of each organization. You know how to bring and maintain the collective interest within the themes on the table and can navigate between potentially different perspectives.

The program manager is entrepreneurial, easily connects with others, sees opportunities, and gains energy from taking on new challenges. At the same time, the role includes many elements that can be managed from the background, in a hybrid manner, and from home.

We are looking for a program manager with the following profile:

A pragmatic connector with leadership: you bring people, interests, and initiatives together and translate the shared ambition into concrete movement and results.
Politically and administratively sensitive: you maneuver smoothly between the autonomy of individual care organizations and the collective regional interest. You know how to persuade without hierarchical power.
Self-starting and strong in organization: you bring calmness, structure, and process discipline. You switch effortlessly between strategic advising and practically organizing network collaboration.
Result-oriented and persistent: you maintain focus on agreements made and adjust where necessary, even when interests diverge.

Jouw ervaring & kwaliteiten:

Academic level of thinking and working with thorough knowledge of healthcare (preferably elderly care).
Demonstrable experience as a program manager or network coordinator in complex multi-party collaborations.
Substantive knowledge of care, preferably elderly care.
Experience in managing conflicting interests and maintaining political support.
Good accessibility and affinity with the Brabant region.

Wat bieden wij?

Overeenkomst: A contract for 10 to 16 hours per week.
Looptijd: Initially for one year, with the prospect of extension.
Flexibiliteit: A dynamic role with a lot of independence, hybrid fulfillment (combination of working from home and site visits in the region).
Tarief: Market-conform ZZP rate, depending on experience.
