The Role

As a Program Financial Controller, you will be an integral part of the Finance team based in Papendrecht. You will engage with our financial operations to ensure their health and support monthly reporting for consolidation, contributing to the planning cycle, including forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans. Your role will be crucial in enhancing business processes and advancing finance operations standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting of programs, including analysis and balance sheets.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans for the programs.
• Assist in achieving financial goals by providing analyses and recommendations.
• Contribute to annual planning processes with insights into sales, profit, and cash flow forecasts.
• Analyze actuals against budget, forecast, and previous year’s figures, serving as a point of contact for Central Finance.
• Prepare various reports to present financial results analysis to stakeholders.
• Provide ad hoc reports, including margin analysis and monthly closure activities.
• Support program management in preparing and updating business cases, challenging the business with financial insights.

Requirements

• Completed HBO/University degree in Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business or Program Controller, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong collaboration skills to gather, challenge, and summarize key drivers of results and cash flow.
• Excellent analytical and financial skills, particularly in management reporting.
• Proactive, independent worker with a strong desire to learn.
• Structured approach to planning work and setting priorities.
