The Role

As a Production Supervisor, you will directly oversee a team of associates and/or technicians responsible for meeting customer demands. You will set and delegate day-to-day tasks to achieve operational objectives, lead and develop your team, provide training and direction, coach and assess team members, schedule resources to meet deadlines, and monitor production and work quality.

Responsibilities

Identify and deploy the necessary technical skill sets, resource levels, and systems for project delivery, including engaging external resources as needed.
Ensure operational staff is qualified and adequately trained.
Investigate customer-impacting issues to provide root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate issue resolution and share production status.
Facilitate a fair and effective hiring process as required.
Execute customer-driven requirements.
Lead and develop a diverse team of full-time and subcontractor associates, focusing on motivation, mentoring, and coaching aligned with WWT's Integrated Management Principles and Core Values.
Conduct leadership activities such as one-on-ones and employee reviews.
Evaluate team members' performance and provide constructive feedback.
Engage your team during each shift to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and attendance.
Foster trust and high-performance teams through coaching, appreciation, and recognition.
Proactively share best practices across all shifts and departments.
Drive the training and integration of your team while motivating and inspiring progress.
Leverage ideas from peers and associates to create improvement plans.
Participate in recruitment activities for your teams.
