As a Product Owner at VIPS PMS, you will closely work with our Product and development teams to translate product strategy into clear, actionable tasks. With established direction and frameworks, you will have the freedom to determine the best path forward.

The Role

You will be involved from concept to delivery, with responsibilities including:

• Translating product priorities into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Keeping the backlog and roadmap updated and aligned with product direction.
• Collaborating with developers to understand technical possibilities, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Working with SaaS platforms, REST/JSON APIs, and Azure-based technologies.
• Asking the right questions to clarify problems and develop practical solutions.
• Making decisions and advancing initiatives within established frameworks and priorities.
• Keeping stakeholders informed and engaged as necessary.
• Working in an Agile/Scrum manner alongside the development team.
• Ensuring that what we build effectively addresses the problems we aim to solve.

A significant aspect of this role involves collaboration. You will regularly interact with developers, product colleagues, and other stakeholders. Our development team includes offshore colleagues, so clarity, approachability, and proactivity are essential.

What We’re Looking For

While you don’t need to meet every requirement, we value how you think and work more than a perfect resume. Ideally, you have:

• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.
• A genuine interest in technology and SaaS.
• Some familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• The ability to translate ideas and problems into clear, actionable solutions.
• A creative and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and make decisions within defined frameworks.
• Confidence in working directly with developers and asking questions when needed.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus.
• An affinity for hospitality and travel is a bonus.
