The Role

As the Product Manager for Digital Assets (DA), you will support and implement ING's DA strategy within Payments & Cash Management. Your role involves defining the necessary capabilities, requirements, and operating model to assist Corporate and Financial Institution clients in the evolving digital asset ecosystem, including wallets, tokenization, and connectivity to emerging market infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day product performance and P&L of your portfolio.
• Define and drive the capabilities, propositions, and operating model to support clients in the emerging DA ecosystem.
• Translate ING’s strategic direction, market developments, regulatory requirements, and client operating models into product requirements and delivery priorities.
• Identify how core client activities, such as payments and liquidity management, can be supported or improved in a digital asset environment.
• Define product requirements and coordinate delivery across Technology, Operations, and Delivery Management.
• Manage product governance, approval processes, and non-financial risks in collaboration with Risk, Compliance, and Legal.
• Support commercialization, product performance, and ongoing enhancement of the product proposition.
• Engage with existing PCM solutions serving clients active in the digital assets ecosystem.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant experience in Transaction Banking, Payments, Cash Management, Financial Market Infrastructure, Digital Assets, or a related field.
• Experience in product management, proposition development, strategy execution, or delivery of complex initiatives.
• Ability to translate strategic direction and market developments into product capabilities and delivery priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across complex organizations.
• A commercial and analytical mindset, capable of simplifying ambiguity and structuring decision-making.
• Interest in developments in digital money, tokenization, wallet capabilities, and market infrastructures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Digital Assets, Tokenization, Stablecoins, or DLT-based market infrastructure.
• Experience in Wholesale Banking, Financial Institutions, or Payments.
• Familiarity with product approval, regulatory change, requirements definition, or technology delivery.
