The Role

As the Product Manager for Digital Assets (DA), you will execute ING's DA strategy within Payments & Cash Management. Your focus will be on defining the necessary capabilities and operating models to assist Corporate and Financial Institution clients in navigating the evolving digital asset ecosystem. This includes aspects like wallets, tokenization, and connectivity to new market infrastructures, aligned with ING's strategic direction.

Additionally, you will support existing clients in the digital asset space, ensuring our Payments & Cash Management solutions remain relevant as client needs evolve. Given the dynamic nature of the DA landscape, you will need to adapt to changes in market conditions, regulations, and client adoption rates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day product performance and P&L of your portfolio.
• Define and drive the capabilities, propositions, and operating model to support clients in the DA ecosystem.
• Translate ING’s strategic direction, market developments, regulatory requirements, and client needs into product requirements and business cases.
• Identify improvements for core client activities in a digital asset environment.
• Coordinate delivery of product requirements across Technology, Operations, and Delivery Management.
• Manage product governance, approval processes, and non-financial risks in collaboration with Risk, Compliance, and Legal.
• Support the commercialization and enhancement of the product proposition.

Requirements

• Master's or bachelor's degree.
• Relevant experience in Transaction Banking, Payments, Cash Management, Financial Market Infrastructure, Digital Assets, or related fields.
• Experience in product management, proposition development, strategy execution, or delivering complex initiatives.
• Ability to translate strategic direction into actionable product capabilities and requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in complex organizations.
• Commercial and analytical mindset, capable of simplifying ambiguity and structuring decision-making.
• Interest in digital money, tokenization, wallet capabilities, and market infrastructures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Digital Assets, Tokenization, Stablecoins, or DLT-based market infrastructure.
• Experience in Wholesale Banking, Financial Institutions, or Payments.
• Familiarity with product approval processes, regulatory changes, and technology delivery.
