De rol

Als Product Engineer bij Filoform speel je een sleutelrol in het onderhouden en verbeteren van ons productportfolio. Je werkt in een praktische productieomgeving waar jouw technische beslissingen direct invloed hebben op productkwaliteit, productiviteit en klanttevredenheid.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Uitvoeren van engineering wijzigingen (ECO's), technische analyses en validaties.
Lezen, beoordelen en aanpassen van technische tekeningen en specificaties.
Ondersteunen van nieuwe productontwikkeling, prototyping en technische tests.
Verbeteren en onderhouden van productdata (ERP, BOM's, attributen) samen met Data Management.
Onderzoeken van kwaliteitsproblemen en ondersteunen van root cause analyses.
Bijdragen aan certificering en nalevingsactiviteiten.
Ondersteunen bij het creëren van datasheets, labels en technische documentatie.
Ondersteunen van aanbestedingsactiviteiten door technische input te leveren.
Onderzoeken van alternatieve producten en middelen ter verbetering van het productportfolio.
Samenwerken met productmanagers om productroadmaps en tijdlijnen te ontwikkelen.
Samenwerken met andere ingenieurs en ontwerpers om complexe technische problemen op te lossen.
Ontwikkelen en implementeren van testprocedures en productprototypes.
Technische ondersteuning bieden aan klanten en andere teamleden indien nodig.
Op de hoogte blijven van trends in de industrie en wijzigingen in de systemen doorvoeren.
Beheren van mallen en gereedschappen (onderhoud coördineren, documentatie, kleine ontwerpupdates).
Uitvoeren van veldtests en rapporteren van bevindingen.
Schrijven van technische en validatierapporten.
Analyseren van klantvragen en deze vertalen naar technische vereisten of concepten.
Gebruik maken van 3D-printing voor prototyping of conceptevaluatie.
Uitvoeren van marktonderzoek ter ondersteuning van productontwikkelingsbeslissingen.
Alle andere taken die door de Research & Development Manager als noodzakelijk worden beschouwd.
