Als Praktisch Veredelaar ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling van de volgende generatie succesvolle groenterassen zoals radijs, knolselderij en bleekselderij, samen met ons gespecialiseerde veredelingsteam. Je werkt veel in het veld en in de kas, maar ook af en toe op kantoor. Je houdt je bezig met diverse veredelingstaken, waaronder:
Verantwoordelijkheden:
- Beoordelen en administreren van de resultaten van verschillende veredelingsproeven.
- Beschrijven van veldproeven, met de mogelijkheid om dit ook in Frankrijk, Spanje en Italië te doen.
- Begeleiden van assistenten en seizoensmedewerkers.
- Samen met het team creatieve oplossingen bedenken en toepassen binnen het veredelingsprogramma.
- Toepassen van hightech veredelingstechnieken zoals digitale fenotypering.
