• A completed PhD degree in a relevant interdisciplinary field such as sustainability science, agricultural science, animal science, political science, or environmental science.
• A strong curiosity to explore governance complexities in farming systems while collaborating with project partners, including farmers.
• Experience with farming systems research, sustainability indicators, and governance theories.
• Proficiency in qualitative and mixed-method research approaches, such as interviews and stakeholder engagement.
• Interest in developing research proposals and contributing to future projects.
• Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and proactive engagement with diverse audiences.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English (C1 level).
• Willingness to work from Wageningen at least three days a week.
