The Greenville Civil Service Commission invites applications to establish an eligibility list for Full-Time and Part-Time Police Officer roles. Interested candidates must submit their applications by 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The Physical Agility Test will be scheduled for a later date.

Minimum Qualifications To Take The Civil Service Test:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• Act 120 Certification under MPOETC or enrollment in Act 120 training.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Physically and mentally fit to perform Police Officer duties.

Qualifications Required At The Time Of Hire:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must successfully complete written, physical agility, medical, and oral examinations.
• Must pass a criminal background check, driving background check, and drug test.
