The Role

ofi’s Cocoa Product Platform is seeking a PLM Business Analyst and Trade Support professional to be based in Amsterdam. This position supports the commercial and operational management of cocoa powder, butter, and liquor across our European and Global processing business, ensuring product availability, pricing discipline, and smooth execution. You will work closely with sales, supply chain, production, trading, and finance to monitor market trends, coordinate customer and internal requirements, and enhance portfolio performance and profitability.

Responsibilities

Assist the PLM desk with internal contract management, including allocations, fixings, and raising or adjusting deal tickets as needed.
Collaborate with sales teams to forecast future demand by customer and product, tracking accuracy for continuous improvement.
Compile global and European annual budgets, identifying gaps between actual and planned performance with root cause analysis (volume, price, product mix).
Quantify customer positions and future coverage months, updating with sales indications and budget to manage supply-demand balance.
Monitor global cocoa movements by origin and destination to anticipate supply tightness and pricing pressures.
Gather product prices and ratios, reporting to external agencies.
Maintain a customer product usage database.
Analyze price sensitivity to understand how different customer segments respond to price changes, informing pricing strategy.
Provide support for customer and management presentations, internal reporting, and ad hoc requests.
