You will be based at the Forest and Nature Conservation Policy Group (FNP) at Wageningen University, which addresses major challenges such as biodiversity conservation and climate change. You will be supervised by experienced professionals from Wageningen University and the European Forest Institute.

• A completed MSc degree in agricultural economics, environmental economics, environmental policy, forestry, or a related field.
• Strong interest in climate adaptation and mitigation policies, and in exploring their causal mechanisms.
• Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Spanish language skills are essential, and fieldwork in Spain will be part of the project.

The gross salary starts at €3,204 per month in the first year and increases to €4,051 in the fourth year, based on a full-time workweek of 38 hours. A temporary contract for 18 months will be extended based on performance.
