• Conduct systematic literature reviews and workshops to develop a mixed-methods ex-post impact evaluation framework for climate policies.
• Use rigorous econometric methods alongside qualitative assessments to evaluate the impact of climate policies on land cover, carbon, and biodiversity metrics.
• Facilitate focus group discussions with various stakeholders in the EU to validate the proposed framework and empirical results.
• Write research papers and present findings at international conferences.
• Collaborate with research partners and assist in disseminating project results.

• A completed MSc degree in agricultural economics, environmental economics, environmental policy, forestry, or a related field.
• Interest in applied econometrics and qualitative mixed methods, with a desire to develop skills in both areas.
• Knowledge of GIS and spatial data analysis is a plus.
• Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Stata, or Python.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish (minimum B2 level).
• Command of English at C1 level is expected.

The gross salary for the first year is €3,204 per month, increasing to €4,051 in the fourth year, based on a full-time work week of 38 hours. A temporary contract for 18 months will be extended based on performance.
