About Remoteship

At Kerten Hospitality, we believe that talent knows no borders. Our Remoteship Program offers a remote internship experience for ambitious individuals seeking real involvement in hospitality. Interns engage in live projects across our global portfolio, contributing meaningfully to operations, marketing, People Services, development, or finance.

The Role

As a People Services Intern, you will support the People Services team during pre-opening and operational phases across multiple properties, ensuring alignment with Kerten Hospitality's standards and values. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, including CV screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and induction support.
• Coordinating employee documentation, contracts, and personnel records while ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, IT, Marketing) to support people-related initiatives.
• Assisting in preparing HR reports, trackers, presentations, and analytics using Microsoft Office to facilitate data-driven decisions.
• Contributing to training programs that help new joiners understand company culture and policies.
• Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives across properties, fostering a positive work environment.
• Acting as a liaison between corporate People Services and property teams to enhance remote collaboration.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous internship or academic exposure to People Services/HR, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HR systems is advantageous.
• Clear communicator, proactive, and able to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-location teams.
