The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant (Working Student) to support our payroll operations in London, Amsterdam, and Brussels. This position is ideal for someone eager to develop their professional skills in a dynamic, international setting. Experience is not necessary—what matters most is your willingness to learn, strong work ethic, and collaborative mindset. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and contribute to a vital area of our business in a supportive environment. We require someone to work 2-3 times per week at our Amsterdam office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and processing payrolls for employees in London, Amsterdam, and Brussels.
• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and timely updates in payroll systems.
• Collaborate with the payroll team to review and verify timesheets and other payroll-related information.
• Support the preparation of payroll reports and reconciliations.
• Respond to basic payroll inquiries from employees, escalating issues when necessary.
• Contribute to process improvements and streamline administrative tasks.

Requirements

• An enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (Dutch or French) are a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with payroll systems is a bonus but not required.
• A flexible mindset to support an international team and adapt to different regional practices.

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of a supportive and knowledgeable Payroll Team based in Amsterdam, Brussels, and London. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Finance, to ensure smooth payroll operations, and interact with managers and employees across the organization, providing essential support for payroll-related matters.
