De Rol
Als Pastry Trainee ben je verantwoordelijk voor het waarborgen van een consistente kwaliteit van de klantenservice voor onze gasten. Je zorgt ervoor dat het team efficiënt reageert op vragen en hen adviseert over de aangeboden faciliteiten en voordelen van het hotel.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Bereid alle voedselproducten volgens standaardrecepten om consistentie te waarborgen.
- Controleer de juiste opslag van producten, met name verse producten, en houd toezicht op portiegrootte.
- Houd alle koelingen, opslagruimtes en werkgebieden schoon en in goede staat om te voldoen aan de gezondheidsvoorschriften.
- Inspecteer en selecteer alleen de versste ingrediënten voor de bereiding van menu-items.
- Bereid aanvragen voor benodigdheden en voedselproducten voor de productie in jouw werkstation.
- Ondersteun operationele afdelingen en anticipeer op hun behoeften.
- Denk creatief en vind innovatieve manieren om gerechten te presenteren.
- Neem deel aan het creëren van nieuwe afternoon tea.
Vereisten
- Goede kennis van kooktechnieken zoals grillen, sauteren, en bakken.
- Kennis van sanitaire normen en keukenapparatuur.
- Basis wiskundige vaardigheden voor recepten en portiegroottes.
- Vermogen om onder druk te werken en stressvolle situaties aan te pakken.
- Communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
- Fysieke vaardigheden om keukenapparatuur te gebruiken en goederen tot 100 lbs te tillen.
- Vermogen om continu in beperkte ruimtes te staan en te werken.
