We are seeking a skilled Deployment Engineer with expertise in Packet Core solutions for Telco Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deploying and integrating 4G and 5G network elements.
We are looking for a Deployment Engineer specialized in Packet Core solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in deploying Packet Core Nodes on Telco Clouds and possess a deep understanding of 4G and 5G call flows, as well as familiarity with the latest telecom technologies such as VoLTE, VoWiFi, and IoT.
The Role
You will lead the deployment, integration, and upgrade of Packet Core Network elements across 4G and 5G environments. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing Packet Core solutions based on customer requirements while adhering to High-Level Design (HLD) and Detailed Level Design (DLD) specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end deployment, integration, and upgrade of Packet Core Network elements across 4G and 5G environments.
- Design and implement Packet Core solutions based on customer requirements, adhering to HLD and DLD.
- Deploy Packet Core nodes on Bare Metal, VNF, and CNF architectures within Telco Cloud environments.
- Install, configure, and integrate core network elements such as SMF, UPF, PGW, SGW, and 5G NSA/SA nodes.
- Support deployment and operations of cloud-native telecom solutions using platforms like OpenStack, VMware, Docker, and OpenShift.
- Perform system validation, interoperability testing, and ensure seamless integration with multi-vendor environments.
- Analyze and troubleshoot network issues using tools such as Wireshark, logs, and protocol-level debugging techniques.
- Provide deep technical support for 4G/5G call flows, including VoLTE, VoWiFi, and IoT use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (onsite and offshore) to ensure timely delivery of deployment milestones.
- Execute software upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal service disruption.
- Monitor system performance and optimize network configurations for high availability and scalability.
- Document deployment procedures, configurations, and operational guidelines.
- Work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure solution alignment and successful project delivery.
- Participate in knowledge sharing, technical presentations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
