As an Orthotist and Prosthetist, you will measure, design, and fit prosthetic limbs and orthopedic braces to enhance patient mobility and function. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with patients and healthcare teams to improve their quality of life.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs and taking necessary measurements, casts, and scans. You will design, fabricate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring they meet the individual requirements of each patient. Educating patients on the use, care, and maintenance of their devices is essential, as is monitoring outcomes and making modifications for comfort and functionality. Collaboration with surgeons, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams is key to delivering comprehensive care. Additionally, you will maintain workshop equipment and uphold quality standards.
Vereisten
- Bachelor's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Valid professional license (DHA / DOH / MOH or country-equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical and fabrication experience
- Knowledge of materials, biomechanics, and CAD/CAM systems
