This position is unique, emphasizing independent oversight across DORA, ICT Risk, Operational Resilience, and Outsourcing Risk. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to fortify the firm's non-financial risk framework and resilience capabilities. The Role

As the Operational Risk Manager, you will:

• Serve as the second line of defense for ICT, third-party, and operational resilience risk, providing both technical and practical challenges to the first line.
• Lead the implementation of DORA and ensure ongoing compliance by translating regulatory requirements into actionable controls.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls, challenging any mitigations that do not meet risk appetite.
• Contribute to the development of risk appetite for execution-related operational risks, particularly in ICT, outsourcing, and resilience.
• Support technology stress testing and scenario analysis on critical processes.
• Prepare and present risk positions to senior management, the CRO, and Board-level committees.
• Engage directly with the ECB and assist in regulatory reviews and examinations.
• Collaborate closely with UK-based risk, technology, and business teams.
• Review material non-financial risks and drive actions with business executives based on findings.

Requirements

• Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience, consistent with SVP level.
• Direct, hands-on experience with DORA implementation.
• Demonstrated expertise in ICT risk, third-party risk, operational resilience, technology controls, and broader non-financial risk.
• Background in first line risk and control, technology risk, compliance, or regulatory program delivery.
• Proven ability to present and constructively challenge senior stakeholders, including executives and Board members.
• Comfortable working independently, setting your own agenda, and driving initiatives without close supervision.
• Pragmatic, hands-on, and technically credible.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Good to Have

• Experience in an ECB-supervised entity or exposure to ECB reviews.
• Familiarity with capital markets or trading environments.
• Experience in technology stress testing.
• Experience working with teams across the UK and continental Europe.
