De International Baccalaureate (IB) zet zich in voor de voortdurende ontwikkeling van een wereldwijde professionele leercommunity van internationaal georiënteerde docenten, schoolleiders en administrators. Professionele ontwikkeling speelt een sleutelrol in de missie van de organisatie. De afdeling Professionele Ontwikkeling biedt een uitgebreid scala aan evenementen en producten, ontworpen om docenten en scholen te helpen de IB-programma's beter te begrijpen en te implementeren, waardevolle ideeën over internationaal onderwijs uit te wisselen binnen een sterke IB-gemeenschap en best practices te identificeren voor de manier waarop we studenten onderwijzen.
Over de Organisatie
Het Online PLD-team maakt deel uit van de afdeling Professionele Ontwikkeling. In 2025 heeft het Online PLD-team meer dan 2.000 online workshops geleverd aan meer dan 21.000 deelnemers wereldwijd. Dit vertegenwoordigt een aanzienlijke groei, die nu verder wordt uitgebouwd met de ontwikkeling van alternatieve vormen van Online PLD. Leden van het Online PLD-team zijn gevestigd in zowel het AEM Global Centre in Den Haag als het Americas Global Centre in Washington DC, VS.
De Rol
Als Online PLD Coordinator coördineer je de activiteiten met betrekking tot online workshops door toezicht te houden op welke producten zijn ingepland, ervoor te zorgen dat de juiste evenementen zijn ingebouwd in het CRM (SalesForce) en online workshopinformatie op de IBO.org-website te beheren. De functiehouder werkt nauw samen met andere leden van het Online PLD-team en de regionale PLD-teams om de wereldwijde beschikbaarheid van workshops te waarborgen. Je monitort registratienummers, maakt rapporten en analyseert gegevens om planningsbeslissingen te onderbouwen. Regelmatig contact met het marketingteam van de IB is essentieel om ervoor te zorgen dat de juiste informatie over online producten wordt gedeeld en om marketingcampagnes te beoordelen.
